Traxxas Jato 4X4 delivers agility and toughness in a platform that is both fun and rewarding to drive. The low-CG chassis uses performance-optimized suspension geometry and optimal weight distribution to deliver quick turn-in and precise handling dynamics.

● BL-2s BRUSHLESS DRIVE
The BL-2s brushless drive system increases the fun by delivering up to 60% more speed and faster acceleration than comparable brushed drives. With improved efficiency, high-speed ball bearings and a built-in cooling fan, the Jato 4X4 can chain batteries for hours of non-stop fun. With no brushes to replace, the 3300Kv BL-2s motor is durable and virtually maintenance-free.

● EXCEPTIONAL STRENGTH
Extreme Heavy Duty components installed as standard give the Jato 4X4 strength and durability comparable to Traxxas’ toughest off-road trucks. An ultra-rigid T-bar reinforces the chassis, and Extreme HD shock towers support the suspension. Large Maxx-Duty driveshafts transfer every ounce of torque from the motor to the wheels with unmatched strength.

● TRACK READY HANDLING
The Jato 4X4 is designed with a low and wide chassis, concentrating its weight under the driveshafts, providing exceptional handling and optimum weight distribution. Its extra-long GTR shock absorbers front and rear maximise grip, ensuring the new Sledgehammer tyres remain in constant contact with the ground. For ultra-flat cornering and game-changing track performance, consider adding the Anti-Roll Bar Kit (sold separately).

● CLIPLESS BUGGY BODY
The Jato 4X4’s tight, clipless body has been designed to reduce drag, allowing for stable high-speed performance by avoiding the parachute effect. The robust side clamps ensure the body is held securely in place whilst allowing for quick removal in seconds for easy battery changes. Additionally, the Jato 4X4 is equipped with the Sledge’s high-lift wing, which helps keep the chassis in contact with the ground while providing effective rollover protection.

● 17MM HEXAGONS
The Jato 4X4’s 17mm hexes provide a large contact area for maximum wheel grip. Their splined design engages with the rims using aluminum nuts for a solid fit. Best of all, these hexes are compatible with most 1/8 buggy wheels with a standard 17mm hex design. Installation and removal is quick and easy with the included wheel wrench.

The Jato 4X4 is factory-equipped with the Extreme Heavy Duty Reinforcement Kit, providing maximum strength and durability. The calipers, rear knuckles and steering knuckles are reinforced with a stronger structure and more material.

● SEALED STEEL GEAR DIFFERENTIALS
The sealed steel gear differentials are ready to handle the power of brushless motors without the need for costly upgrades. Silicone seals and X-rings allow the differentials to be adjusted for racing conditions by changing the viscosity of the oil inside. The Jato 4X4’s modular chassis design makes accessing the differentials quick and easy.
